2003 (during the hot summer)

Arthurs Hill is well served by small corner shops but unfortunately there are no specialist upmarket delicatessens selling something like Italian bread etc. The largest store is Iceland followed by Mirza's (Stanhope Street) the best of the smaller corner shops is Fenham Wine Cellars (corner between Beaconsfield and Longley Streets).

For spices the best shop to go to is Brighton Food stores. The very popular Brighton Grove Takeaway is situated beside it.
