Anne Page and Margaret Copestake founded this duo to explore the largely forgotten repertoire for this combination, whose popularity lasted for nearly a century. Most frequently heard today in performances of Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle (original version), the piano and harmonium duo inspired composers to write works often of considerable virtuosity intended for the concert hall or salon.
